Jimmy and Jenny married Friday, August 27th, 2010. Their passion and love for each other was apparent from the minute I met them, and add to that the love coming from both sides of their families and I knew I was in for a great time. Jimmy made a striking figure in his tux and Jenny was beautiful and glowing in her lovely gown – the ceremony was the icing and the first kiss was the cake. Congratulations to you both and I can’t wait to shoot for you when you renew your vows!

And such cuties these kids are. Most of the time you spend a lot of energy wrangling the kids into place, but in this case, they were happy to pose.

You’d think I’d get tired of seeing the same things happen at all the weddings I’ve been to, but I just don’t. You know why? Because it’s brand new to the bride and groom. And that makes it real, all over again.

People like to say that real love is hard to find, but I just say they’re not looking hard enough. It’s all around us.

I caught these two at the end of the buffet table, and they sure looked happy to get their plates! But then again, some people are just great at always being ready for their picture to be taken, right?

Sometimes I get a good laugh at a wedding ceremony or reception, and no photo provides a better example than this one. I see things like this and think to myself, “I sure hope they don’t really feel like this!” haha
